Georgia High School Basketball - Windsor Forest topped by Brantley County

The Brantley County Herons basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Windsor Forest Knights to 48 in the Herons league victory on Tuesday.

The Herons now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pierce County for a AA Region 3 contest on Friday, January 19. Brantley County will battle a Bears team coming off a 61-30 league win over Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Bears record now stands at 10-6.

The Knights (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors come into the AA Region 3 contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Tattnall County was defeated by Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA), 56-34, in a non-league contest.
