The Breese Central Cougars tipped the host Highland Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 48-44 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Mater Dei Knights (Breese, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 18. Breese Central will attempt to move on its 19-2 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 18-3 record after their 55-42 non-league win over Taylorville (Taylorville, IL).
