The Eagles now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Paso for a 5A Region I District 1 battle on Friday, January 19. Canutillo will battle a Tigers team coming off a 47-42 league loss to Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 18-7.

The Silver Foxes (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Burges (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region I District 1 battle with a 20-6 record. In their last battle, Burges trounced Andress (El Paso, TX), 61-26, in a league battle.
