Hannibal Warriors (Hannibal, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cazenovia Lakers (Cazenovia, NY), 46-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hannibal upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Cato-Meridian (Cato, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Cato-Meridian lost 50-41 in their recent league bout against Port Byron (Port Byron, NY)

Next up, the Lakers play the Solvay Bearcats (Solvay, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Cazenovia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 53-3 non-league loss to Jordan-Elbridge (Jordan, NY).
