Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Shamrock Irish (Shamrock, TX), 83-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, Clarendon upgrades its record to 22-1 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Wellington (Wellington, TX) to play the Skyrockets in a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, January 19. The Skyrockets come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Wellington won 47-38 in their recent league bout against Quanah (Quanah, TX)

Next up, the Irish play the Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, January 19. Shamrock will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Cyclones come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 63-43 league loss to Wheeler (Wheeler, TX).
