Georgia High School Basketball - Claxton overwhelmed by Metter

The Claxton Tigers basketball team (Claxton, GA), was overwhelmed 71-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Metter Tigers (Metter, GA)

The Tigers now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryan County for a A D1 Region 3 battle on Friday, January 19. Metter will confront a Redskins team coming off a 50-25 league win over Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 14-2.

The Tigers (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Gamecocks come into the A D1 Region 3 battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Screven County trounced Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA), 49-31, in a non-league battle.
