The Jefferson Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Clinton Cougars to 39 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edgerton for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Jefferson will meet a Crimson Tide team coming off a 63-39 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, WI). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 14-1.
The Cougars (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Delavan-Darien (Delavan, WI). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Delavan-Darien triumphed over Brodhead (Brodhead, WI), 67-60, in a non-league contest.
