Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Cook Hornets (Adel, GA), 86-15 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tift County upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Houston County (Warner Robins, GA) to play the Bears in a AAAAAA Region 1 bout on Friday, January 19. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Houston County won 37-32 in their recent league bout against Lee County (Leesburg, GA)

Next up, the Hornets play the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) in a AA Region 1 bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Cook will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 63-36 league win over Berrien (Nashville, GA).
