California High School Basketball - Maxwell can't hold off CORE Butte

The CORE Butte Lynx basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Maxwell Panthers to 41 in the Lynx league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lynx now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williams for a Mid-Valley contest on Friday, January 19. CORE Butte will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 60-11 league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-10.
The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Wolverines enter the Mid-Valley contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Biggs nudged Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA), 40-31, in a league contest.
