Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) and the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), saw Pine Lake Prep's basketball squad wallop Corvian Community by a tally of 68-28.

With the victory, Pine Lake Prep improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Pride travel to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC) to confront the Spartans in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores challenge on Friday, January 19. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 13-1. Community School of Davidson won 65-15 in their recent league challenge against Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC)

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Corvian Community will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Raptor come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 37-36 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC).
