Georgia High School Basketball - Wilcox County overwhelms Crisp County

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA) and the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), saw Wilcox County's basketball squad wallop Crisp County by a tally of 64-31.

With the victory, Wilcox County improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Dodge County (Eastman, GA) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Dodge County won 48-34 in their recent league challenge against Cook (Adel, GA)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Dooly County Bobcats (Vienna, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Crisp County will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 49-22 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, GA).
