The Huntsville Hornets basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Dayton Broncos to 23 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Porter for a 5A Region II District 16 contest on Friday, January 19. Huntsville will battle a Spartans team coming off a 43-41 league loss to Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 14-13.
The Broncos (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX). The Panthers come into the 5A Region II District 16 contest with a 8-16 record.
