The Devine Warhorses (Devine, TX) basketball crushed the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), 59-25 in Tuesday's league test.

The Warhorses (23-8) will now prepare for their test against Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX). The Wildcats go into the 4A Region IV District 29 test with a 19-10 record. In their last test, Carrizo Springs was trounced by Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX), 42-37, in a league test.

The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Somerset for a 4A Region IV District 29 test on Friday, January 19. Uvalde will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 65-16 league loss to Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-21.
