North Carolina High School Basketball - NCSSM: Morganton overwhelmed by Draughn

The Draughn Wildcats basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the visiting NCSSM: Morganton to 15 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Heritage for a 1A/2A Western Highlands contest on Monday, January 22.

The (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen come into the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Cherryville was routed by Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC), 56-40, in a league contest.
