Iowa High School Basketball - Starmont ripped by East Buchanan

The East Buchanan Buccaneers basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Starmont Stars to 16 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springville for a Tri-Rivers - West contest on Thursday, January 18. East Buchanan will meet a Orioles team coming off a 65-46 league win over Central City (Central City, IA). The Orioles record now stands at 10-6.
The Stars (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Wildcats enter the Tri-Rivers - West contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Maquoketa Valley triumphed over Midland (Wyoming, IA), 49-37, in a non-league contest.
