Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) and the visiting Eastwood Eagles (Pemberville, OH), saw Lake's basketball squad knock off Eastwood by a count of 42-27.
With the victory, Lake upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH) to play the Rockets in a Northern Buckeye challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Oak Harbor won 37-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Bowsher (Toledo, OH)
Next up, the Eagles play the Rossford Bulldogs (Rossford, OH) in a Northern Buckeye challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Eastwood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 47-20 league loss to Lake (Millbury, OH).
