The Edina Hornets basketball team (Edina, MN), was overwhelmed 84-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN)
The Royals now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayzata for a AAAA Section 6 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Hopkins will confront a Trojans team coming off a 87-37 league win over Edina (Edina, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 13-3.
The Hornets (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Trojans come into the AAAA Section 6 battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Wayzata trounced Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN), 74-48, in a league battle.
