The Richard Pioneers basketball team (Riverview, MI), was nudged 39-32 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI)

The now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cranbrook Kingswood for a Catholic Intersectional I battle on Thursday, January 18. Everest Collegiate will battle a Cranes team coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI). The Cranes record now stands at 4-3.

The Pioneers (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, University Liggett was nudged by Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI), 53-41, in a non-league battle.
