Alabama High School Basketball - Springwood overwhelmed by Glenwood

The Glenwood Gators basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Springwood Wildcats to 33 in the Gators league victory on Tuesday.
The Gators now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Macon-East Montgomery Academy for a AISA AAA Region 1 contest on Thursday, January 18. Glenwood will battle a Knights team coming off a 66-20 league loss to Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL). The Knights record now stands at 2-7.
The Wildcats (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL). The Warriors come into the AISA AAA Region 1 contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Lee-Scott Academy triumphed over Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL), 66-20, in a league contest.
