The Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), 57-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Coyotes (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Rio Rancho got by Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 57-18, in a non-league test.
The Rockets now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Moriarty for a non-league test on Thursday, January 18. Goddard will encounter a Pintos squad coming off a 50-9 non-league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 4-10.
