With the victory, Golden Sierra upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Esparto (Esparto, CA) to play the Spartans in a Sierra Delta League bout on Friday, January 19. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-11. Esparto lost 47-21 in their recent league bout against Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA) in a Sierra Delta League bout, on Friday, January 19. San Juan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 51-20 league win over Highlands (North Highlands, CA).
