In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies basketball team scored a good 50-41 triumph over the Heath Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Johnnies meet the Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH) in a Licking County - Cardinal match, on Saturday, January 20. Johnstown-Monroe will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Green Wave enter the match with a 13-0 record after their 48-42 league win over Utica (Utica, OH).
