With the victory, Hickory Christian Academy improves its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Calvary Day School lost 52-12 in their recent league challenge against Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC)

Next up, the Barracudas confront the Statesville Christian Lions (Statesville, NC) in a NCISAA Foothills challenge, on Friday, January 19. University Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 41-12 non-league loss to Liberty Preparatory Christian (Mooresville, NC).
