The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Valley lost 58-54 in their recent league bout against Round Valley (Eagar, AZ)

Next up, the Bruins play the Ganado Hornets (Ganado, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Hopi will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
