The Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) basketball nipped the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 31-29 in Tuesday's league test.

The Hawks (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines go into the 3A Northern - West test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Truckee was tipped by Sparks (Sparks, NV), 42-28, in a league test.

The Railroaders now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Truckee for a 3A Northern - West test on Thursday, January 18. Sparks will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 65-29 league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-6.
