North Carolina High School Basketball - Hunt routs South Johnston

In Tuesday's league outing, the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), by a margin of 72-49.

The Warriors (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Wildcats go into the 3A Quad County outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, West Johnston smashed C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC), 44-41, in a league outing.

The Trojans now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host East Wake for a 3A Quad County outing on Friday, January 19. South Johnston will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 56-29 league loss to Fike (Wilson, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-11.
