North Carolina High School Basketball - James Kenan can't hold off North Lenoir

The James Kenan Tigers basketball team (Warsaw, NC), was nudged 40-33 in Tuesday's league match with the visiting North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC)

In their next game, the Hawks meet the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) in a 2A East Central match, on Friday, January 19. North Lenoir will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 5-9 record after their 52-28 league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).

With the defeat, James Kenan moves to 6-6 on the year. The Tigers host Clinton (Clinton, NC) to meet the Dark Horses in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 17. The Dark Horses enter the match with a record of 7-2. Clinton won 38-36 in their recent league match against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)
