With the victory, Jayton improves its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Jaybirds travel to Paducah (Paducah, TX) to confront the Dragons in a 1A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Paducah lost 28-21 in their recent league challenge against Guthrie (Guthrie, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Patton Springs Rangers (Afton, TX) in a 1A Region I District 5 challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Spur will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record.
