In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals (Dalzell, SC) basketball squad edged the visiting King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC), by a count of 46-42.
The Generals (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Ashley Hall (Charleston, SC). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 1-6 record.
The Lions now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Conway Christian for a SCISA AA Region III outing on Thursday, January 18. King's Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 45-40 non-league win over Southeastern Christian Academy (Shallotte, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
