The Westview Knights basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos to 14 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millennium for a 5A Desert West contest on Thursday, January 18. Westview will battle a Tigers team coming off a 52-44 non-league loss to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV). The Tigers record now stands at 13-8.

The Fighting Lobos (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ). The Scorpions come into the 5A Desert West contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Desert Edge was routed by Canyon View (Waddell, AZ), 46-25, in a league contest.
