The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Melrose Dutchmen to 40 in the Mainstreeters league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mainstreeters now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New London-Spicer for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20.

The Dutchmen (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against B O L D (Olivia, MN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, B O L D triumphed over Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN), 69-39, in a league contest.
