Arizona High School Basketball - Mesquite routs Saguaro

January 16, 2024: Gilbert, AZ 85233

In Tuesday's league outing, the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), by a count of 62-36.

The Wildcats (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans go into the 4A Desert Sky outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Arcadia was crushed by St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ), 64-41, in a league outing.

The Sabercats now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Marcos de Niza for a 4A Desert Sky outing on Thursday, January 18. Saguaro will clash with a Padres squad coming off a 68-14 league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Padres record now stands at 2-16.
