Terrell County Greenwave (Dawson, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA), 63-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Terrell County upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Greenwave travel to Quitman County (Georgetown, GA) to play the Hornets in a A D2 Region 1 bout on Thursday, January 18. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Quitman County lost 71-21 in their recent non-league bout against Calhoun County (Edison, GA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) in a A D2 Region 1 bout, on Friday, January 19. Miller County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 38-36 league win over Early County (Blakely, GA).
