Minnesota High School Basketball - Minneapolis South can't hold off Washburn

The Washburn Millers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Minneapolis South Tigers to 49 in the Millers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Millers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a AAA Section 3 contest on Thursday, January 18. Washburn will battle a Teddies team coming off a 60-34 league win over North Community (Minneapolis, MN). The Teddies record now stands at 12-4.
The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Tommies come into the non-league contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Edison was nudged by Patrick Henry (Minneapolis, MN), 48-2, in a league contest.
