The Newman Catholic Knights (Mason City, IA) basketball crushed the host Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA), 58-23 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights (6-5) will now prepare for their test against West Fork (Sheffield, IA). The Warhawks go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, West Fork walloped Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA), 68-34, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Central Springs for a Corn Bowl test on Friday, January 19. Nashua-Plainfield will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 58-30 league win over North Butler (Greene, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
