The Northwest Webster Cougars basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Southeast Valley Jaguars to 51 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Northwest Webster will battle a Hawks team coming off a 60-27 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Hull, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 11-1.
The Jaguars (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA). The Mustangs enter the Twin Lakes contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Newell-Fonda triumphed over Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA), 105-28, in a non-league contest.
