Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County topples Sierra Lutheran

January 16, 2024: Carson City, NV 89705

In Tuesday's league bout, the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) basketball squad overcame the host Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), by a count of 39-27.

With the victory, Pershing County upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Incline (Incline Village, NV) to play the Highlanders in a 2A Northern bout on Saturday, January 20. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 0-9.

Next up, the Falcons play the Incline Highlanders (Incline Village, NV) in a 2A Northern bout, on Friday, January 19. Sierra Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Highlanders come into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 43-20 league loss to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV).
