Illinois High School Basketball - Sparta trounced by Red Bud

In Tuesday's league match, the host Red Bud Musketeers basketball team scored a decisive 63-18 triumph over the Sparta Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Musketeers face the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors (Marissa, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 18. Red Bud will attempt to move on its 16-7 season record. The Meteors enter the match with a 15-5 record after their 60-12 league win over Dupo (Dupo, IL).
