Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE), 55-8 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sandhills/Thedford upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Burwell (Burwell, NE) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 7-5.

Next up, the Mavericks clash with the Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Sandhills Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 34-29 non-league loss to Brady (Brady, NE).
