The St. Johns Redwings (St. Johns, MI) basketball felled the host Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI), 59-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Redwings (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI). The Gladiators go into the Capital Area - Red test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Fowlerville thwarted Everett (Lansing, MI), 62-24, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Ledge for a Capital Area - Blue test on Friday, January 19. Waverly will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 51-32 league win over Okemos (Okemos, MI). The Comets record now stands at 3-8.
