In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT), by a margin of 60-25.
The Spartans (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Juab (Nephi, UT). The Wasps go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Juab smashed Manti (Manti, UT), 29-21, in a league outing.
The Hawks now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Carbon for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 18. North Sanpete will encounter a Dinos squad coming off a 43-34 league loss to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT). The Dinos record now stands at 4-6.
