The Mountain House Mustangs (Mountain House, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA), 44-27 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Ceres (Ceres, CA). The Bulldogs go into the test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Ceres notched a victory over Grace Davis (Modesto, CA), 42-19, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Los Banos for a test on Thursday, January 18. Lathrop will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 41-26 league win over Ceres (Ceres, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
