Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA), 56-14 in a league bout.

With the victory, Christopher upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA) to play the Cougars in a bout on Thursday, January 18. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Evergreen Valley lost 49-17 in their recent league bout against Leland (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 20. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 58-8 league win over Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA).
