In Tuesday's league outing, the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), by a count of 36-35.
The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Midway (Dunn, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Midway was tipped by Fairmont (Fairmont, NC), 57-36, in a league outing.
The Dark Horses now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to James Kenan for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 17. Clinton will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 37-22 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
