With the victory, Mira Monte upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Arvin (Arvin, CA) to play the Bears in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 8-9. Arvin won 58-11 in their recent league bout against Foothill (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Sun play the South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Del Oro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 36-26 league win over Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA).
