The South Lenoir Blue Devils basketball team scored 30 points and held the host East Duplin Panthers to 23 in the Blue Devils league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, South Lenoir upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC) to play the Hawks in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 7-3. North Lenoir won 49-30 in their recent non-league bout against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 19. East Duplin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 23-21 non-league loss to Kinston (Kinston, NC).
