Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC), 47-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Fountain Inn upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Fury host Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC) to play the Bengal in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Bengal go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a bout, on Thursday, January 18. Palmetto will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 52-45 league win over Wren (Piedmont, SC).
