The Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) basketball crushed the host West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 46-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Red Tornadoes (5-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, St. Stephens was trounced by East Lincoln (Denver, NC), 41-34, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Lincoln for a test on Wednesday, January 17. West Iredell will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 41-34 league win over St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-1.
