The Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) basketball knocked off the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), 53-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs go into the test with a 4-5 record.
The Ravens now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Garinger for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Rocky River will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-39 non-league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-7.
