Liberty Bell Mountain Lions (Winthrop, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Manson Trojans (Manson, WA), 51-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Liberty Bell upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Mountain Lions travel to Brewster (Brewster, WA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Brewster won 52-49 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Roosevelt (Coulee Dam, WA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Cascade Kodiaks (Leavenworth, WA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Manson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Kodiaks go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 65-25 non-league loss to Quincy (Quincy, WA).
